Weight Loss, the natural way.

We recently put up a post about apple cider vinegar as part of a diet for weight loss and a lot of women did not know why or what it helped with. Pills and potions work however herbal or natural methods are the healthiest and best for your body, well thats what we believe.
Your diet is important and so are the products in your spice rack.
There is no need for you to suffer with cravings and going to bed with them as there are spices and natural products that help fight those cravings and boost your metabolism which aids in weight loss.

1. Apple Cider Vingegar(ACV)
So we are aware that this smells and tastes totally gross, but we assure you this is good for you, there are 6 proven benefits of ACV such as weight loss, reduced cholesterol, lower blood sugar levels and improves symptoms of diabetes. Now down to the deets of why you are reading this, ACV helps you eat fewer calories which leads to actual weight lost on the scale, although it wont work miracles on its own, it helps promote satiety, lowering blood sugar levels and insulin levels.
Trust us, the taste makes you feel as though you don’t want to eat for the rest of your life, its suggested to drink 1 tablespoon mixed hot water.

2. Ginger
Yes, another one that tastes bad but is amazing for your body.
Ginger has been proved to help with digestion, reduce nausea and help fight a cold or common flu, there are many more benefits of ginger but the important one in this blog is the weight loss benefit.
Ginger helps reduce bloating which we all suffer from, a study shows that when women drink a hot cup of ginger after eating they felt fuller for longer and reduce feelings of hunger.
We prefer boiling a few pieces of ginger in a small pot on the stove for about 10-20 minutes and then drinking warm.

3. Cinnamon
Cinnamon has been shown to reduce some of the bad effects of eating high fat foods and can help overall with weightless as it has an effect on blood glucose levels which in turn help your body lose weight.
One teaspoon of honey, half a teaspoon of cinnamon in a cup of hot water or green tea will be perfect.

4. Parsley and Lemon
This combo is ideal for burning belly fat as parsley is low in calories and has lots of nutrients.The enzymes in parsley break down food and release nutrients from the proteins, fats, and carbohydrates you consume, thereby improving digestion and playing an important role for slimming your body. Parsley helps to reduce water retention and bloating. When parsley is mixed with lemon, the lemon is known to boost your metabolism and see you hydrated. It will help promote satiety and fullness which reduces your calorie intake and lead to weight loss.
Add lemon juice and some parsley to hot water, strain and then drink warm.

5. Black pepper

How can we not mention black pepper! Linked to cayenne pepper, black pepper is rich in piperine, which gives black pepper its unique flavour. This one ingredient prevents the formation of fat cells and thus, helps you to lose, and later maintain, that weight. You can combine black pepper and cayenne pepper for better weight loss results!
